Wildlife Corridor

Panther Run includes a designated wildlife corridor connecting generally from southeast to northwest through the community. 

The corridor will consist of preserved wetlands, buffers, and upland conservation areas. 

Streets will include provisions for wildlife to travel across or under roadways. The corridor addresses a critical gap in the Florida Wildlife Corridor, which connects north and south Florida.

Panthers are not part of the Panther Run habitat, nor do they live in Central Florida. This endangered, iconic Florida wildlife lives in South Florida.
